Made from aircraft grade aluminum and weighing in at only 4.6 ounces, this carabiner is the lightest ever to meet the requirements for "General Use" in accordance with NFPA 1983-06 standards. The G-First has a quik lok gate and a "Keylock Nose" which marries the gate and the frame of the carabiner without the traditional "notch and pin" that can sometimes interfere with with slings, ropes and other equipment.
