The tool for water/ice rescue and haz-mat containment. The Hoseinflator can inflate a 2 1/2" N.S.T. thread fire hose by using a SCBA air bottle. Up to three 50' (15 M) sections of 2 1/2" hose can be inflated with a full SCBA bottle. Use the inflated hose for lowhead dam, swift water and ice rescues. They also can be used for open water rescue and to contain a floating haz-mat spill on water. The new Hoseinflator is machined of light weight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy extrusion that is Mil Spec A8625 type II class I. This is the toughest, most corrosion resistant surface that is possible with current technology (Rockwell scale 60-65). It looks good and it's tough as nails. The smooth rounded housing guard has several rope attachment holes, and no corners to hang up and snag. The over-pressure relief value (set at 100 PSI) will not allow the hose to become over-pressured. The tool for low head dam, ice and difficult water rescue situations.
