ICE RESCUE AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Classroom and practical hands-on training prepare rescue personnel to evaluate and respond to ice-related emergencies.
Course Covers:
- Identify ice conditions
- Use ice rescue equipment
- Practice shore, boat, and direct contact ice rescue techniques
Course Details:
- Course meets NFPA 1670 technician-level guidelines
- FEMA Course 15-32937
- 16 hours
Student Requirements & Prerequisites:
- Completed Water Rescue & Emergency Response Course
- Must be 18 years or older
- Hold a valid, government-issued ID
- Students are required to bring all appropriate P.P.E. for water rescue operations (dry suit, helmet, gloves, PFD, whistle, etc.)
