ROPE RESCUE OPERATIONS (NFPA 1006)

30 HOURS

This course offers training compliant with Chapter 5, Section 2 (Operations) of the NFPA 1006 – 2021 Edition. This course will provide emergency response personnel and others that may assist on scene of a Rope Rescue Operation the necessary skills to build and operate rope systems.  Participants will also learn to perform patient packaging and initiate scene mitigation techniques for low complexity incidents.  Training in these skills will be conducted in both the low angle and high angle environments.  This class through the Weinel Group is a pre-requisite for Rope Rescue Technician courses, and is offered over three days.
