The NRS Boat Sponge is a simple way to remove water from kayaks, canoes, and other small boats. Its highly absorbent foam construction soaks up standing water from areas that are difficult to reach with a pump. Lightweight and compact, it stores easily with your paddling gear and helps keep the cockpit or hull dry during and after use.

This medium size sponge works to remove that unwanted pool of water that manages to collect under your kayak spray skirt. The Boat Sponge can absorb up to 36 ounces (1.1 liters) of water at a time. Paddling in whitewater or the sea, this sponge will lift out sand and moisture from the bottom of your boat that traditional bilge pumps leave behind. It can be used with a bilge pump or on its own to keep your boat dry and clean.
