The Petzl KOOTENAY Carriage is a knot passing pulley designed for long raises, Tyrolean traverses, and rescue systems where joining knots must pass through the pulley. Its 76 mm sheave with sealed ball bearings provides efficient rope movement, while the high clearance rope channel accommodates knots and 8 to 19 mm rope. Locking pins on the sheave also allow the carriage to be used as an anchor, with a 10 kN maximum working load.
