The Sterling 5mm Accessory Cord is a durable 100% nylon cord designed for tie downs, braided projects, and other general utility applications. The 5 mm cord has a 5.1 kN minimum breaking strength, is certified to EN 564, and is made in the USA. It is intended for non life safety use and is not suitable as a lead climbing rope.
These smaller cords can be used in a wide range of applications from tie-down straps to braided bracelets and any other non-life-safety applications. Accessory cords are not for use as lead climbing ropes.
