The Sterling EscapeTech Fire Escape Rope is a compact 7.5 mm escape rope designed for firefighter bailout and emergency escape systems. Its nylon core and Technora sheath provide a balance of packability, durability, and heat resistance, while the small diameter allows easy storage and smooth payout from a bag or pocket. The rope has a 17.4 kN minimum breaking strength, weighs 2.8 lb per 100 feet, and is certified to NFPA 2500 (1983).
