ABOUT APE CANYON OUTFITTERS
We are Ape Canyon Outfitters, a subsidiary of The Weinel Group Corp., a 3-generation family company specializing in life safety, work-at-height, and rescue equipment.
Sister brands to Ape Canyon Outfitters include Rock-N-Rescue and Rock-N-Arbor, suppliers and manufacturers of rescue, arborist, and work-at-height equipment, and Omega Pacific, manufacturer of life safety hardware such as carabiners, pulleys, and rigging plates.
Driven by a demand for reliable & affordable gear, Rock-N-Rescue began crafting its own equipment in 1982, which continues to this day. In 2016, after attending an aerial rescue training, we recognized the need for more affordable and durable tree care products designed for the modern arborist. One year later in 2017, RNA was born.
As we began to hear about more and more preventable injuries and accidents occurring in the saddle hunting space, we saw an opportunity to apply our expertise to help make the industry safer. As a family of outdoorsmen focused on safety, it only made sense to expand our offerings to saddle hunting. Thus in 2022, Ape Canyon was born.
As a 3-generation family-run business, ACO is committed to providing reliable, certified, US-made gear that has been thoroughly tested and inspected. As we are users of saddle hunting & outdoor gear ourselves, we understand the importance of safety and focus on providing saddle hunters not only with the gear, but also the education they need to get back home safe after every hunt.
