The RNA 12mm Amethyst Rigging Line is a lightweight double braid rope built for arborist rigging applications. Its 100% polyester construction provides dependable strength and handling, while built in overload indicators show when the rope has been subjected to excessive loading. Amethyst has an average strength of 8,767 lbs (39 kN) and is slightly smaller than a true 1/2 inch rope.
At 12mm, this 100% polyester double braid is slightly smaller than 1/2”(true half-inch lines are 12.7mm) and is a lightweight, high-performance rope. Unique to Amethyst are the overload indicators: strands set at regular intervals in the rope which show when the rope has been subjected to overload.
