This course offers training compliant with Chapter 5, Section 3 (Technician) of the NFPA 1006 – 2021 Edition. This course is designed to build a higher level of proficiency for emergency response personnel and others that may respond and supervise a Rope Rescue Operation, in both the low angle and high angle environments. Through the course students will learn necessary skills to build advanced rope systems, perform patient packaging, conduct vertical and horizontal movements of loads, and supervise scene mitigation techniques for high complexity incidents. This class through the Weinel Group is offered over three days after students complete the Awareness and Operations courses prior.
