ICE RESCUE AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Classroom and practical hands-on training prepare rescue personnel to evaluate and respond to ice-related emergencies.

  • Identify ice conditions
  • Use ice rescue equipment
  • Practice shore, boat, and direct contact ice rescue techniques

  • Course meets NFPA 1670 technician-level guidelines
  • FEMA Course 15-32937
  • 16 hours

Student Requirements & Prerequisites:

  • Completed Water Rescue & Emergency Response Course
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Hold a valid, government-issued ID
  • Students are required to bring all appropriate P.P.E. for water rescue operations (dry suit, helmet, gloves, PFD, whistle, etc.)
