The ACO Appalachian Foot Loop is a compact and versatile addition to your saddle hunting system. It can be Prusik hitched, tied with a Klemheist, or girth hitched to a handled ascender for rope ascent, self rescue, and suspension trauma relief. Each foot loop comes pre tied as an adjustable Purcell for quick length adjustment. It can also be paired with a Safeguard or Vergo to create a RAD system for ascending and descending on a single rope.

For maximum efficiency, it can also be girth hitched directly to a handled ascender or a Petzl Basic, creating a streamlined ascending system with minimal bulk.

Each foot loop comes pre-tied as an adjustable Purcell, allowing you to quickly fine-tune the length for your preferred climbing position without tying additional knots.

Pair the Appalachian Foot Loop with a Safeguard or Vergo to create a RAD (Rapid Ascent and Descent) System, giving you a simple, efficient method for both climbing and descending on a single rope.
