The CMI 6 Bar U Shaped Rack with Stainless Steel Top Bar is a stainless steel descender designed for controlled friction during rescue and rope work. Five open bars and one stainless steel Hyperbar provide multiple friction settings and help simplify lock offs, while the 3/8 inch stainless steel frame offers durable construction for repeated use. The rack works with doubled ropes of the same diameter, has a 14,500 lb minimum breaking strength, and exceeds NFPA 1983, 2006 Edition testing requirements, but is not certified.
