Ocean Polyester is Teufelberger’s response to the high demands made of hitch cords. Composed of a polyester/aramide sheath and a polyester core, its construction makes the rope highly abrasion resistant, grippy, and heat resistant. These hitch cords feature CNC sewn eyes on each end. The sewn eyes are every bit as strong as a hand spliced eye, but we can offer them at a lower price. For a consumable item such at this, the lower priced sewn eyes make a lot of sense for many climbers.
