The SKEDCO Water Flotation System Complete adds vertical flotation to the Sked Stretcher for water rescue operations. Two 5 inch Ethafoam flotation logs provide approximately 56 lb of flotation, while an inflatable chest pad and 15 lb ballast help keep the stretcher upright in the water. Two extra long webbing handles support patient handling, and the complete system weighs 17 lb. Made in the USA.

Vertical flotation reduces the possibility of patient drowning due to capsizing. Flotation of the Sked Stretcher is accomplished with a pair of 5″ diameter Ethafoam logs and an inflatable chest pad. The Ethafoam floats provide approximately 56 lbs. of flotation. In order to make the Sked float vertically they use a 15 lbs. ballast in a nylon bag. Two extra-long webbing handles. This flotation is simple to use. An experienced person can package a patient in water in as few as two minutes. Made in USA.
