This course is designed for individuals responsible for rescue of workers at height on structures requiring use of fall protection principles while conducting individual and team based tactics. This course will provide consideration for manufactured structures and equipment that should be utilized to increase safety such as self-absorbing lanyards, cable anchors, and other similar pieces of equipment. This course will provide students with the ability to size up structures requiring ground up rescue and subsequent ability to employ the most efficient rescue tactics. This course will be taught in accordance with applicable sections of OSHA 1910 as well as NFPA 1006 – 2021 edition Chapter 4, Section 1 (Awareness), Section 2 (Operations), and Section 3 (Technician).
