The Sterling 3/8″ WorkPro is a lightweight static rope designed for mountain rescue, rappelling, anchoring, and light duty rigging. Its nylon core and polyester sheath are engineered for balanced elongation so both components share the load evenly. The 10 mm rope has a 29 kN minimum breaking strength, 2.6% elongation at 300 lb, and is certified to NFPA 2500 (1983), EN 1891 Type A, and ANSI Z133.

This rope is dual-certified to EN 1891 Type A and NFPA 2500 (1983), compatible with recreational climbing gear, light and packable. Uses: Rappelling, Anchoring, Light-Duty Rigging. For the WorkPro, we developed an entirely new approach to rope construction—one that makes for balanced elongation in the core and sheath so they share the load evenly. This makes the WorkPro stronger than other 11 mm ropes of similar construction while retaining a small but important amount of elongation.
